The Tragedy We Live In is an Atmospheric Doom/Sludge Metal Band from Belgium

The members are:

The Tragedy We Live In is a hard-hitting and brilliant band who have recently caught my attention. Their blend of Instrumental Music which blends Sludge, Noise, Doom, Drone and Post-Rock can only be described as unrelentless and simply breathtaking to listen to.

Their amazing S/T debut album is one I have been listening to nonstop on a daily basis. The 8 tracks and 33 minutes will leave you begging for more. The way the band blend the different genres is a joy to behold.

It's heavy and pulsating from the word go. First track - The Tragedy We Live In - instantly draws you in with it's blend of different vibes of Instrumental Rock music. Though the album fully kicks off when the awesome 2nd track - Chains - comes out of nowhere with a powerful based Sludge Metal riff.

Strap yourselves in as your in for an unforgettable wild ride. The Tragedy We Live in are masters at blending quiet ambient based Post-Rock vibes with the heavier Sludge/Noise/Doom Metal riffs.

My fave track on the album is the 8:45 minute epic - There Must Be A Way Out. It's breathtakingly heavy from the word go. It shows what highly talented musicians the band actually are. They know how to play on your emotions by drawing the listener into their volatile world. Dreamy atmospheric ambient riffs end the song on a high note.

Next track - Wahnsinn - puts the album on familiar heavier territory with some pulsating drumming leading the way. Another one of my fave tracks on the album.

I have done enough track by track reviews. You still have 4 more outstanding tracks to check out. But believe me they are just as great as the first 4 tracks. Especially Artemis and Inside The Demons Heart.

If your a fan of recent Sludgelord faves - Sannhet - then you going to love this like I did. The Tragedy We Live In have delivered a  brilliant and wonderful album I can't recommend highly enough. It's expertly produced and played by everyone involved.

Belgium have another great band to add to their ranks. The Tragedy We Line In demand your attention now.

What's even better is the band have the album up for free download from here. Believe me folks you can't pass this up. It doesn't get any better than this. Fucking Awesome. End Of.
