CHUTER - Regenerative Review

Chuter is a Post-Rock/Ambient/Shoegaze/Metal Artist from the UK.

Chuter is the work one highly talented individual -   Jack Chuter - who has just released his highly original new EP – Regenerative – A 5 song release that runs for 33 mins.

You get 4 new tracks and a sublime remix of a slightly older track. But since I am new to Chuter’s work I will consider this as a proper release with all new tracks.

Chuter takes influence from Jesu, My Bloody Valentine to portray a dreamy and epic ambient soundscape that ventures between the realm of Post-Rock and Metal at different times

It’s not exactly Post-Metal though some people will consider in that genre. But is still very heavy to boot. I will admit I was weary when I read the description of the album but I needn’t have worried. As this is a truly original piece of work from a truly talented artist.

The 5 songs show what Chuter can do brilliantly all day long. His music will immerse you quickly into his dream-like world with great vocals to match.

Opening Track – Pilot - will show you what to expect and it draws you in from the start. It gets very heavy very quickly and it brings a sense of euphoria to the listener with the mix of genres blended into a distorted wall of noise.

The vocals and instrumental work by … is just a joy to listen to all the way through out. This is a release you will be coming back to time and time again. It’s seriously something special to check out right now.

Production and Instrumental work is top-notch from start to finish. All in all this is a wonderful release from a truly talented artist who we rate very highly at Sludgelord. If you want something different to listen to then check out Chuter. You won’t be disappointed.

This is another quality release from Blindsight Records and I thank Umair for bringing this hugely talented artist to our attention. This is rated very highly from ourselves at Sludgelord.

You can buy this release for as little as £3 for digital copies and £4 for physical copies.

Highly Recommended.
